WHAT I MEAN BY REGENERATION

Regeneration, as I utilise it, is not a trend, a certification, or a checklist.

It is a way of relating to your practice, your body, your collaborations, your communities, and the wider ecosystems your work touches and impacts. Healthy living systems — forests, rivers, soils, bodies — don't extract until depletion and then start over. Instead they have an innate intelligence that tells them how to cycle, how to reciprocate, how to restore as they create. Regeneration asks: what would it

look like to bring those same principles into the way we work, make, lead, and relate in fashion-textiles?

For my work, regeneration always begins from the inside out. We begin with tending our inner world which then translates out into our creations, and what we're building and impacting on the outside.

Regeneration is not a destination but a practice of returning to the essence found in all life.

I’M ANIA

For over 18 years, I've worked at the intersection of industry and academia, exploring how fashion-textiles can contribute to a more sustainable and regenerative world.

Today, I guide visionary creatives, entrepreneurs, and scholars in reconnecting to the life-force within fashion-textiles—the ancient aliveness that modernity has systematically separated us from.

Through experiential, relational approaches rooted in my PhD research in pluriversal design and years of inner and outer exploration, I help people rediscover the magic that unfolds when we bring ancient making practices into the present to create regenerative futures.

Through this work, fashion-textiles becomes a sacred practice where sustainability emerges naturally through right relationship with the entire web of life.

FAQ’S

  • If there’s a session you cannot make, don’t worry. You will receive a recording afterward which you will be able to access for a period of time after the course ends.

  • If you are financially struggling and cannot financially exchange for this experience yet would benefit from this experience, please get in touch. A few pay-what-you-can spots are available for marginalised folks. There are also payment plans available.

  • You do not have to be in the fashion or textile or design spaces to participate in this container. We will be talking about and practicing around creativity and making, which can be applied to other fields. Please use your discernment here if this container is right for you or get in touch to have a chat.

  • Yes! There will be an online community space set up for the duration of the course where you will be able to engage with others and myself throughout.

  • No. I only encourage participants to arrive at our sessions with a sense of openness and curiosity. This is where magic, learning and connection can occur!

  • Yes! In each session, there will be space to ask questions relating to each week’s topics and you can also post these in the community chat.

  • ‘Weaving Worlds’ is a safe space for humans of ALL identifications, genders, cultural & spiritual beliefs, experiences and worldviews, to explore various diverse topics and viewpoints. The intention is for this community to be made up of deeply respectful, self-sourced and self-responsible humans.

    We all have diverse perspectives, experiences and ways of engaging with the world. I invite everyone to practise leaning into uncomfortable conversations and listening to others with curiosity and openness. In the spirit of pluriversality, all viewpoints are welcome, valid and questionable.

    No promises can be made about your internal safety, and I trust that you know how to look after yourself if are triggered or if various emotions arise during our explorations.

    We will not always get it right, but I am actively committed to deep listening, integrity and transformation.

    Absolutely no harassment or abuse will be tolerated.

  • All course sales are final and no refunds will be given.

  • I honour each individual's discernment on when and how much to engage based on personal capacities. You are welcome to come to the calls and just to listen, or share and speak. Tune into yourself before each session to see where you are at and how comfortable you feel in engaging. The online community space is also there for you to post questions and engage with others.
