A 5-week live course and community experience for big-hearted creatives, designers, makers, visionaries, and change-makers who want to come back into a LIVING, EMBODIED & REGENERATIVE RELATIONSHIP with their creativity. Begins Tuesday 7th July 2026
Love, you are not blocked.
You have been taught to create in a way that was never designed to sustain you or the wider ecologies you are part of.
Mother Earth. Cosmos. Future Worlds.
We have been taught to treat our creativity like a resource to be mined, optimised, and extracted into predictable, homogenous outputs. To sit down, switch on, push the ideas out, make the things, repeat.
And when it doesn't come we push harder, criticise ourselves more, and try to force flow from a state of disconnection.
But creativity is not about willpower or discipline.
And it was never meant to fit into a box you were never designed to exist within…
Do you find yourself fragmenting and splitting off the parts of yourself that are too weird, too deep, too left of field for the professional spaces you move through?
Contorting your work into digestible chunks that go against your very nature?
Like me, perhaps your relationship with creating in the world began through enchantment, love, expression?
If your creative work isn't turning you on anymore. Let’s change that 😜
Creative Ecologies is where you stop forcing and begin coming back into a living, breathing relationship with your creative life-force and what you’re here to create and contribute to in the world.
IN 5 WEEKS YOU WILL:
— Come back into an embodied, living relationship with your creativity
— Learn how to communicate with your creative essence through all seasons, including times of pressure, urgency, blocks, and the relentless outside noise.
— Develop the relational sensitivities that are your greatest creative asset in this era: attunement, embodied knowing, deep listening, somatic awareness, all capacities no ai can replicate because they can only be lived.
— Move out of the extractive loop of forcing, performing, and depleting yourself for your work, and into a regenerative creative rhythm
— Come into relationship with your creativity through your project, your brand, your practice, your vision, as a living entity you collaborate with rather than something you carry alone.
— Reconnect to the living ecologies of your creative world: your body, materials, tools, communities, the Earth, as sources of creative wisdom.
— Leave with a living creative practice that is yours.
— Connect with a global community of big-hearted creatives, makers, pioneers and change-makers who actually give a damn about what they're bringing into the world.
CREATIVE ECOLOGIES is for every creative practitioner, maker, writer, founder, designer, researcher, and cultural builder who senses that the way they have been taught to create isn't aligning with their values, isn't working for them anymore and who knows, somewhere in their body, that there are other ways.
Why this matters now
We are living in a time of accelerated noise, speed, and automation.
As ai expands, output and mind-based information becomes cheaper, faster, and infinitely abundant.
What will matter most and what cannot be outsourced, optimised, or replicated is the depth of relationship we have with creative life-force: our capacity for perceiving the world through our five senses (and beyond), attunement to what is subtly going on, our embodied knowing, relational intelligence, pattern-recognition that is felt rather than just observed, creative sovereignty that comes from being grounded in yourself, your creations, your visions, and the living world.
These are not soft capacities but essential ones for the creations and worlds we are bringing into being, and for remaining human as the outside noise ramps on up.
Creative Ecologies approaches creativity as a living relationship, to be cultivated across five spheres: Self, Creations, Communities, Mother Earth, and Future Generations.
These relationships ask for tending rather than forcing, listening over just performing, reciprocity rather than extracting.
When we create from this place, our creative work carries what cannot be manufactured or automated, as it carries our aliveness and all of the relationships that cultivate this.
This is not just intellectual but understood, lived, felt, and practiced within the body.
This is the material culture shift Creative Ecologies is part of.
About this work and your facilitator
I'm Dr. Ania Zoltkowski, a Polish-Australian independent educator, researcher, mentor and artist.
I came to the creative fields, particularly fashion, textiles, and design, through enchantment. I used to sit for hours observing the hand-stitched cloths my grandmother had brought from eastern Poland, cloths I would later inherit. Even though I couldn't articulate it back then, I could feel that these textiles were alive, that they carried intentionality, care, and sacredness within their creation processes.
I would run my fingers across the embroidered motifs until I picked up a needle myself one day, and it was as if a cellular memory returned to my hands. I have always felt this connection.
I spent years working inside fashion and design industries and academic institutions, spaces that were producing beautiful work but functioning on excessive output, performance, and constant production. It was in these spaces that my creativity began to dim. I burned out, repeatedly, trying to bridge my values with what the systems permitted.
What brought me back was returning to my creative aliveness through my making practice.
During my practice-led doctoral research at the University of Technology Sydney, I spent three years drawing and stitching with no outcome in mind, letting the cloth, the thread, the needle guide me. I learned to listen deeply, to work relationally and reciprocally. To discover that the body, when allowed to move with materials in a contemplative, unhurried way, becomes a conduit for knowledge that mind alone cannot reach.
That creativity, when approached as relationship rather than extraction, connects us to lineages, to places, to the more-than-human worlds, to future visions we are dreaming up and creating.
My relationship with my creative life-force has become one of the most sacred, nourishing, expansive and grounding relationships of my life.
Creative Ecologies has been created for you from so much of my own lived experience and ongoing (un)learnings. It is born from the places where I have had to untangle myself from excessive output, performance, urgency, and the disconnection that can happen when our creative gifts are shaped by extractive systems.
This course draws from nearly twenty years experience across global creative industries, academic teaching and research, combined with fifteen years of embodied and spiritual inquiry and practice.
I have taught hundreds of students across fashion, design, and creative practice at university level, designed my own creative and research methodologies, frameworks for change-work in our world that have been globally published, and have mentored practitioners moving from extractive to regenerative ways of working. And, most importantly, I continue to walk this path myself, as I am constantly evolving.
"Ania shares techniques which enable us to respond to more than just our limited thoughts and beliefs. Personally and in terms of my work as a maker and owner of a small organic clothing label, I have benefited enormously and in the long term from this journey."
— Simone, Maker and Owner of KOEN Organic Fashion
What our ancestors understood — and what modernity worked hard to make us forget
Long before industrial, patriarchal, and colonial logics took full hold, our ancestors understood creativity not as output but through relationship — a living field of vitality, of earthly and cosmological intelligences, woven through the body, the community, the cosmos and future worlds.
My own Slavic ancestral lineage understood the making of materials, textiles, and objects as a sacred and relational practice. Threads were woven into past, present, and future worlds. Women whispered prayers and intentions into cloth as they stitched, symbolically binding the dreams and desires of their communities into the fabric itself.
Spinning was associated with the great goddesses who created the world through spinning it into being, such as Makošć, the Slavic goddess of fate and weaving, who spun the threads of human destiny; Neith of ancient Egypt who wove the world into being on her celestial loom; the Three Fates of Greece who measured and cut the thread of life.
This understanding of creating as world-making, as fate-spinning, as a practice holding the deepest dimensions of life was not peculiar to any single tradition. It belonged to the shared inheritance of human knowing.
These practices were later condemned as witchcraft by the church and patriarchal orders and every attempt was made for them to be eradicated. This persecution didn't end there and shape-shifted into the extractive logic of modern creative industries today that value output, optimisation, scale, and hyper-speed above all else.
Creative Ecologies will begin to restore within you some of this relational wisdom.
"Each session became a nurturing anchor in my week, something I genuinely looked forward to. What I'm taking with me is a renewed sense of stepping out of the dominance of the mind and into the deeper intelligence of the body, spirit, and heart. This is a transformative experience that can truly enrich and expand your worldview."
— Dörte de Jesus, Creative Director and Founder of The Lissome
"She shares her knowledge in a way that awakens the wisdom already within you. One of the most powerful insights for me was understanding that every part of ourselves, and everything we create, is its own living entity."
— Kristina, Textile Artist and Designer, South Africa
The five-week curriculum
and community experience
Creative Ecologies is the full five-week journey into rebuilding a regenerative relationship with your creativity through teachings, embodied practices, rituals and community.
We begin 7th July.
8pm Sydney AEST/ 11am London BST/ 5am Mexico City CDT
Replays will be available for those who can’t attend live.
Each week includes theory, embodied practice, creative ritual, community reflection, and a living making practice.
Drawing from pioneering research, somatic and embodiment practices, pluriversal and decolonial frameworks, ancestral wisdom traditions, place-based practices, archetypal exploration, creative rituals, and energy work, each week builds on the last — moving through a living arc from ground to integration.
There will be opportunities to share your experiences and receive support around what you’re currently navigating in your creative practice.
This is not a course you only think your way through. It is a space to listen, make, sense, reflect, ritualise, and begin living your creative ecology in real time.
Woven through every week is your making practice. I invite you to work on something with your hands alongside the weekly content. This can be something you are already working on, something you want to bring to life, or any practice that brings you into direct sensory relationship with materials, tools, and your body. This is the embodied laboratory for everything we explore together, and one of the most potent parts of the entire experience. This is a way to integrate the ideas and practices through active making. This course is designed to switch on all of your wisdom centres: intuition, heart, mind and body.
You don't need to arrive with a fully formed project, polished idea, or clear next step. You only need to bring your willingness to listen more deeply, participate curiously, and enter into a different kind of relationship with your creative life.

7th July
Map your creative ecology and begin creating from relationship, not isolation.
We begin by setting the container and mapping your creative ecology.
Creativity is not a solo internal act — it lives in relationship across five spheres: Self, Creations, Community, Earth, and Future Generations, with relations flowing between them all.
This week you begin to sense those relationships, understand where they are alive and where they might be severed, and connect into the living field of creative intelligence you are already part of.
Through mapping, reflection, and making, you begin to see your creativity as a living system rather than a personal pressure.
So that you leave this week with a practice of attunement you can return to whenever the noise gets loud — a way of dropping back into your body, your materials, and your creative field before you force anything.
The relational field becomes available.
-
— 14th July
Move from forcing into sensing, presence, and creative receptivity.
This week is about the slow art of perceiving what is actually present before acting: the energy in a room, the state of a body, the mood of a material, the subtle truth beneath words.
You develop the somatic and relational sensitivity that is your greatest creative asset, and that no technology can replicate.
You learn to listen through the senses, through intuition, and through relation, so you can respond to what is actually alive rather than what appears required.
Through embodied listening, sensory practice, and making, you begin to recognise the difference between forcing and responding.
You move out of the forcing mind and into creative receptivity.
-
21st July
Meet perfectionism, performance, fear, control, and the Eros beneath them.
Where are you still creating from extraction?
This week surfaces the unconscious patterns: the perfectionism, the performance anxiety, the fear of being seen, the grip of control.
We also explore Eros: the sensual dimension of creative life-force. The aliveness, the pleasure, the vitality that is the natural state of creation when we stop forcing it.
Through inquiry, reflection, creative ritual, and making, you begin to meet what has been blocking your creative life-force without turning it into another self-improvement project.
You meet what has been blocking you with curiosity rather than criticism. Creativity becomes something you want to return to.
-
28th July.
Let what has surfaced compost before the next growth begins.
This is a held pause, aligned with the full moon of 29th July.
What has been surfaced needs time to compost before the new growth begins.
We will be present in the community space with voice notes and prompts.
-
4th August
Reconnect with place, Mother Earth, ancestry, and more-than-human intelligence.
Reconnecting to the living world as a source of creative intelligence: to place, to the more-than-human world, to ancestral lineages of making as living wisdoms.
Drawing from pluriversal and decolonial scholarship and the practices of peoples who have always understood creativity as relationship with the Earth, this week expands your creative ecology beyond the self into the living world you are already part of.
Through place-based practice, ritual, and making, you begin to create with the awareness that your work is held within a much larger web of relations.
-
11th August
Integrate the rituals, rhythms, and practices that will sustain your creative aliveness.
This closing week is about how you carry this work forward into your everyday life, practice, art, offers, business, leadership, or next season of becoming.
You will articulate your own living creative ecology and begin shaping the practices that can sustain you beyond the course: how you listen, how you make, how you rest, how you return, how you stay in relationship with your creativity when life gets full.
We close with integration and collective ceremony, honouring what has shifted, what has been remembered, and what is now asking to be lived.
WHO IS THIS FOR?
Creative Ecologies is for creative practitioners, artists, designers, makers, writers, founders, researchers, cultural builders, and visionaries who know their creativity is not just something they “do” or "use". It is something you are in relationship with.
This is not about making more for the sake of making more. Nor is it about optimising your methods. Nor is it about becoming more palatable to the systems at large.
This is about returning to the living essence of your creative power and building the conditions for your next body of work to emerge through your truth, vitality, sovereignty, and the meaningful impact you’re here to create.
This is for you if:
— You want to rewild their creative expression and create from a deeper ecology and through the wisdom of the body, intuition, beauty, place, impact, and relations.
—You feel creatively tamed, over-managed, or disconnected from your natural creative expression.
— You are tired of performing a version of yourself or your work that no longer feels true to you.
— You are between identities, seasons, bodies of work, in transition.
— You have outgrown your niche, category, role, aesthetics, or creative language.
— You want to make work that feels alive.
— You know there is something deeper trying to come through your creative work, but you don't yet know how to listen to it or work with it.
— You sometimes feel like nobody quite gets what you're doing or why.
— You want to create in a way that is more relational, embodied, intuitive, and regenerative for all life on this planet.
— You want to learn how to stay rooted through challenges and complexity.
— You want your creativity to become a source of aliveness rather than extraction.
— You are already on creative fire, but you want to bring more intentionality, ritual, devotion and relational practices into your processes.
This is for the ones who see differently.
The pioneers.
The bridge-builders.
The creative mystics.
The makers of worlds.

What People Are Saying
“I’ve been following Ania’s work and collaborating with her for many years, and I was truly excited to see her deep PhD research come to life as Weaving Worlds – a six-week course and generous public offering. What drew me to it was the knowing that Ania brings a unique, embodied and holistic approach to sustainability – one that’s rooted in ancient wisdom and invites a profound shift in how we relate to ourselves, each other and the world. This isn’t work that stays on the surface; it’s a transformative experience that can truly enrich and expand your worldview. Although I was initially a bit shy about stepping into a group container, I was surprised by how much I loved this form of learning. Ania created an intimate and safe space, where her wisdom was beautifully mirrored and magnified by the presence and insights of all the participants. Each session became a nurturing anchor in my week, something I genuinely looked forward to. What I’m taking with me is a renewed sense of stepping out of the dominance of the mind and into the deeper intelligence of the body, spirit and heart. Through Ania’s guidance, holistic sustainability becomes not just a concept but a lived and felt experience. I’m walking away with a sense of playfulness, presence, gratitude and a clearer sense of purpose.”
— Dörte de Jesus, Creative Director and Founder, Germany
“Weaving Worlds with Ania was a truly special experience. She shares her knowledge in a way that awakens the wisdom already within you, guiding you to connect with your own inner library — one that holds insights reaching far beyond the moment you were born.
Over six weeks, we explored how to open our senses, tune in, and listen — realising that the answers are always evolving. One of the most powerful insights for me was understanding that every part of ourselves, and everything we create, is its own living entity — and learning how to connect with these parts in an ever-changing world.
Everything around us is both a part of who we are and something we can observe, listen to, and learn from. Our small, intimate group of women became a source of shared wisdom and connection, with each person bringing her own richness and playing an important role in our unfolding collective journey.
Thank you, Ania — this was truly exceptional. ”
— KRISTINA, TEXTILE ARTIST & DESIGNER - ZOSA, SOUTH AFRICA
“The six weeks of Weaving Worlds were a most nourishing and fruitful journey for me. Ania shares techniques which enable us to respond to more than just our limited thoughts and believes. I connected with the place, the elements, the tools and materials, my inner wisdom centers and with our ancestors - plants, animals, humans and others - in deeper ways. We were a wonderful group, and Ania opened the space for us to share and witness our voices and experiences, which I found magical and healing. There was always the link to textiles, fashion and craft. Personally and in terms of my work as a maker and owner of a small organic clothing label, I have benefited enormously and in the long term from this journey.”
— Simone, Maker and DESIGNER, Switzerland
“Weaving Worlds was an incredibly transformative experience. I am immensely grateful to Ania and our cohort for creating such a beautiful and enriching space for exploration and creative evolution. I do a great deal of personal and spiritual development work and Ania’s work and practice is the real deal. This is what we need - authentic, rich, deep, whole, connective, inspiring and so much more. Weaving Worlds unlocked latent creativity I hadn’t leveraged in years, it brought me back to myself. Thank you Ania for your research, your commitment, your vision and your love.”
— Claire, CONSULTANT, FRANCE
The world needs what you are here to create.
Not the forced, depleted, extracted version.
The alive one. The rooted one. The relational one.
Making has always been a world-making act.
Every stitch, mark, word, gesture, and form made with intention matters.
In a time of acceleration, complexity, and noise,
staying creatively alive is not only nourishing for you.
It is necessary for the new worlds you are bringing into being.
Creative Ecologies begins 7th July.

You bring what is alive for you. This is not prescribed or assessed. It is a living practice you tend alongside the course.
-
Yes. You don't need any background in spiritual practice, energy work, or personal development to participate. What you need is openness and curiosity to explore your creativity beyond what you've been taught so far. Everything is grounded, embodied, and practical. You will be guided into everything you need.
-
This course was designed for real creative lives, not ideal ones. You don't need to arrive in a good place, with clarity, or with your life together. The practices here are specifically designed to resource you through complexity, uncertainty, and difficult seasons — not to require you to have resolved them first. Come as you are
-
Yes — though not in the way a business strategy course would. Creative Ecologies works at the level of your relationship with creativity itself. When that relationship shifts, everything downstream tends to shift too — how you make decisions, how you show up in your work, what you choose to create and how, the quality of aliveness in what you bring into the world. Participants consistently find that the most practical outcomes come from the most unexpected places. If you feel you need and desire extra 1:1 support, I suggest purchasing the added 1:1 tier.
-
Session recordings are available on the private course page for the duration of the course and for three months after our final session on 11 August. Voice notes, prompts, and community conversation in the Telegram space remain accessible to you as long as the group is open.
-
Due to the intimate nature of this container and the preparation involved, all sales are final. If you have questions before purchasing and want to make sure this is the right fit, you are welcome to reach out at ania@aniazoltkowski.com before joining.
